On December 5, 2011, members prepared
and served dinner for Moreno Christian Assembly's annual Christmas appreciation
dinner. Through this partnership, Soroptimist receives public recognition
and the use of the hall and facilities for our service awards
ceremony in June. On December 10, the club's holiday party and gift
exchange was celebrated at Ardith's club house. On December
20, we assembled and delivered gift bags for the four senior couples we adopted.
Last, on December 22, club members helped
distribute food to the clients at Community Assistance Program. See the three photo galleries below.

On December 12, 2010, the club's holiday party and
gift exchange was celebrated at Ardith's club house. The club
participated in two new service projects for Christmas. First, we
"adopted" a family (a single mother with 4
children and 1 grandson). Soroptimist members personally donated gifts of
clothing, toys, games, personal care
items, and food for all members of the family. The club provided the
family with a decorated Christmas tree and
gift cards to a local grocery store and department store. Second,
the club and individual members donated an
assortment of books, toys and clothing to the Child Abuse and Neglect Unit
at Riverside County Regional Medical Center.

On December 13, 2009, the club gathered
for the annual
holiday party and gift exchange.
At the last meeting of 2009, Soroptimist put together the gift bags of donated
presents for the "adopted"
seniors and single mother, and presented our regular server with a generous
Soroptimist tip.
